Mexico Travel Ticket
Travel to Mexico Robert took us to a wonderful experience that could only have been the case. Camping on the dock distance of the ferry in the Gulf of Mexico, deepening our immersion in the ancient ruins of El Tajin spend the night in the parking lot, with breakfast in our motorhome with a taxi driver in Xalapa, watching an informal rodeo restaurant in Chihuahua - these are just some of our fondest memories. Many other small moments Beauty and the interest comes from this form of travel as well.
There were deficiencies, but. Getting lost, having to maneuver out of tight spaces trailer, what I really need to find a place for the RV at night, the issue of visiting the city while the R. ... Quickly with a third person, but my husband and I are one, which needs regular gasoline for food, water and electricity, and needed to dump the water frequently.
In the U.S., it is very easy. Simply remove the mobile home in any size and shape, and everywhere you go, you can find a public or private campsite. There are large national directories list them. You can have a general idea of what to expect when you go.
Mexico does not want that. In some parts of the country, more developed, especially the coastal towns RV Pacific beach where the U.S. and Canada have been for many years. But if you get beaten the way, travel to Mexico Robert is intended to be an adventure.
Why visit Robert? We found this fun, flexible, economical and convenient.
Nice
We enjoyed a mini-house with us wherever we went. In our own bed, kitchen, bathroom, and gave him the kind of trip simplicity and stability, which we liked. The two have been writing much during the trip, and the table of our two laptops is another advantage. We loved the kitchen most of our meals, eat only when we want, not because was the only option other than a snack. It should be something that is not going to live in a suitcase - and for us as well as laptops and video equipment with Kelly, a necessary part of our business reasons for travel, suitcases would be a few!
Flexible
We treasured the flexibility, too. No entries could go where and when we spontaneously. And while it is true that the outstanding bus system in Mexico, I look everywhere, I doubt that would have gone to many places more remote, we have studied, if we have to do on the bus.
Economic
RVing is an economical way to travel, if you go to great distances in the tower that the poor fuel efficiency. Our Toyota Dolphin, on average 17 miles per gallon - have followed. Thus, even if gas prices were higher In Mexico, the United States, our transportation costs were not bad at all. You should purchase Mexican car - Insurance U.S. is not honored there.
We average $ 10 per night to camp, especially since many nights were free. Since feed costs, maybe 60% of U.S. prices, we ate avocados and mangoes in abundance. I'm not a big meat eater of men at home, but I loved the taste (although usually hard) Mexican meat. Fresh bread and bakery goods were cheap, and I was happy to see the whole grain bread from time to time.
Appropriate
Care Foundation, in general appropriate. Bottled water is sold even in small towns where you can buy a large container, and then complete the exchange of plastic bottles is another in a different place when finished. Am delighted to see how widely available clean water. This is a very positive step in public health in Mexico. In just over a dollar for about five gallons, the cost was insignificant to us, but it remains a problem for poor Mexicans.
Food and household items easy to find - all supermarket chains in the tent city that also have a home and drugstore items. The public markets offer a wide variety of products and meat. Even in small towns, is the mini-supers "(that is what people call them) of various sizes.
Stay in touch with family, friends, and our business is easy with the Internet. Everywhere in Mexico, we found little good internet cafe. After a while the connection speed prehistoric times, but usually good and sometimes very good. In general, the costs of one or two dollars per hour. We have been online in about two days a week. A couple of times, we an idyllic spot, because they have no connection exists, but never had much to do to find them. Mexicans have become the Internet, and only a few can afford computers at home - and many of them have mobile phones, regular phone service may be difficult to obtain and expensive - such as coffee to meet a real need, and more numerous than in the U.S.
What size R. accept?
Like other Americans in camp, we found that people in a small RV, generally have more fun and going to more remote locations. Our small Toyota did well.
I think the ideal vehicle for driving in Mexico versatile some kind of van. Might be a good conversion will end or even a passenger van regular which added some basic supply camping or sitting up in bed, table, kitchen, and, perhaps, a small bathroom. This will allow use it to sleep and eat when you want, but you can still stay at the hotels and the car in the front door usually short.
When you select the route and find campsites
We have chosen their own path as we went, but I set some general ideas. We have never been along the Gulf Coast Persian and like to see it. We wanted to go to some sites. We were curious to see if we could find a place that I could live for several months. It is well known that the miles of href = "http://www.ticketfront.com"> travel, travel more and less time, you're not driving, we intended to cover only part of Mexico at this time. Once there, it hard to give up some of the places I wanted to see what was more, but not give these impulses. It was much more fun to have a relaxing trip.
When no field
Every time we went to spend the night and there was no camp, we got to talking with the locals and ask their advice on places to stay. We have done all over Mexico in 1979. Passengers say it is more risky now. If so I do not know how, but on this trip that we always ask when in the beginning of the journey, not always worry.
Danger and crime
We have heard terrible stories of weapons and crimes in Mexico, while the scariest of the librarian Texas, whose ex-husband took arms in all of Mexico! Like attracts like, they say.
We had the experience of a theft. One Sunday afternoon, we were in popular resort area, or hot springs, and put our bathing suits and towels in the back of R. dry before taking a walk. I have an old pair of shoes with me, and were quite humid. I put them to dry the hood of Toyota, where they were more visible to people who happen by. I thought that if someone does not really matter much. I prefer par me
