Class C
Class C RVs and motorhomes are typically characterized by a distinctive cab-over bunk, and offer an affordable and reliable option for many RVers. They are built on a truck chassis with an attached cab section, which is usually van based, but some models may also be pickup-truck based or even large truck(freightliner) based. Class C RV makes a nice transition and is the best choice for rental companies.
Most Class C RVs feature a living room behind the driver's cab, a dining area, kitchen, full bathroom facilities. With it's cab-over bunk and rear bedroom, the Class C offers more sleeping accommodations than a Class A, which makes it attractive for larger families. But unlike a Class A Motorhome, driving a Class C RV sometimes feels more natural, since it is basically a modified van.The cost of a new Class C ranges from $50,000 - $170,000.
