"I can tow a car to the end of my motorhome?
I have a 1998 Ford Transit 2.5D 2005 motorhome converted. Now the main problem of motor homes is that when you get to a campground you are stuck on that site until they leave, whereas if a towed caravan at least you can travel in the area with your car. I've seen a few mobile homes with small, elegant cars, but does anyone know if my motorhome will be able to drag a Corsa?
There is much confusion about this, but basically everything that is being towed by a trailer. If the trailer weighs over 750 kg, then it must have all of it's wheels braked - The only exception to this is for recovery purposes rather than transportation. This means your Corsa or would have to be towed behind a trailer with of your trailer or have installed a system that applies to all Corsa brakes as needed, while being towed. Many people are wrong - A frames, trailer trucks, etc. ONLY be used for the recovery of a vehicle to a safe place and not for tourism or transport. Cars are small enough to be towed A framework (ie under 750 kg), but not a Corsa is one of them ... even the base models have a "dry" weight of 850-900kg.
