Why camp in NASCAR racing, particularly "redneck" issues?

Some of my friends ask me for my love of NASCAR and have many questions. 1) Why go to so many races? 2) Why did you camp in NASCAR racing? 3) Would not it be better to stay in a hotel? and 4) Is cheaper to camp?

Well, for starters, I just love the sport of NASCAR. The excitement, fun, camaraderie and above all, my daughter NASCAR loves. It is a great opportunity for bonding between father and daughter and / or family vacation that is indeed priceless.

Started Booking a hotel and race through package tour companies. This was the best way to start and enjoyed a series of races together. Our first race was Charlotte for the Coca Cola 600 and we had a great time. He smiled at the weekend. My daughter just turned 18 and we still go to the races. Now we have the camp and, Of course, dad still paid holidays, and now pays for the groom too. Oh, well.

I've only been to a race without my daughter and was under the lights Bristol. This was also my first contact with the camp in a NASCAR race and camping in general. To be honest, I was not a big fan of camping.

I went with a group Boy and I could not believe the difference. Camping around what was to race in a week long, action-packed NASCAR racing experience. We arrived on Monday and the "race" was not Saturday night. What would I do for a whole week? All other races were more or less a long weekend. To my surprise, it was nonstop from the day we arrived until the day we left. We could not even fit in everything I wanted. There were more than 15 events on the track - practice, qualifying and take in all three NASCAR races and we had a great deal of time walking the carriers.

If we were not on the track, we were playing games redneck (Eg, hillbilly golf, corn hole [which Canadians called throw bean bag], touring the camp, go to the back door and experience some parties the best culture in the world, and that is the redneck "culture."

I met some of the best people in the world at the campground. It included people from all walks of life, their groups with a tent to people with million dollar motor homes. And guess what, all these people had one thing in common - the love of NASCAR. This brought them who created a unique opportunity to learn about NASCAR "camping" and "redneck" culture. As a Canadian, was so surprised by what this culture has to offer; of "redneck" foods like fried turkey an alcoholic beverage called "cake apple "and all the fun and games.

There is an intangible set up camp on or through the road from the racetrack. Create an atmosphere that just fun fun fun! You can hear the cars start to the session this morning, and then watch the flood of fans career in the direction of the track. Its exciting!

I had one of the best times of my life in the camp in Bristol. Never stay in a hotel again. Staying in a hotel an hour or more of the track is not the same. You can not create the same environment to stay in a hotel room. Do the same things to do in all other holidays: complain about the pool is too cold to dine and drink and sit in your room watching TV. Add in a race or two, and NASCAR is that your vacation stay in a hotel room.

My friends do not really get this, but I think if you went to the race to know that the hotel package is a NASCAR racing experience. It's a race and not get me wrong its still exciting and fun to watch a race in any situation.

Now let to talk about cost. Believe it or not camping may be more expensive, unless you own a trailer or motorhome. RV dealers charge a premium for NASCAR races require a minimum rental period of 4 nights a week. Some places charge upwards of $ 700 per night for a luxury motor home. Then there is the cost diesel fuel, mileage, use of propane gas, the use of generator, pump outputs, camping and many other hidden costs including the costs of cleaning, bedding, utensils kitchen and personal care packages. Renting an RV is absent more than a hotel room per night, but when you factor in the same price meals and camping is would be more fun.

There is a huge drawback for camping if you are a beginner. This requires training on how to operate the RV including the generator, tank hot water, toilet and holding tank and more. Then there is the RV parking on the site and making sure the RV is level. If you are a beginner, you need to be on the site early because an RV park can be extremely difficult.

As a rookie I found an easier way to camp. Paying a little more and book through a tour company that offers a package of camping. We provide a worry-free and without hassle approach to experience everything NASCAR has to offer. You can also get "all inclusive" packages where meals are prepared for you. Have staff on site to ensure that your experience camp is nice and on maintaining the RV for you.

If you are thinking of NASCAR vacation, explore all your options. Trust me, the camping is the best way to go. It's the ultimate NASCAR experience with the NASCAR tour company offering a package of camp, is the only way to go. You may think it may cost a little more, but when you factor in the cost of eating out for 3 to 5 days, camping ends up being much cheaper and better. You can also go a route less expensive camping in a trailer or Class C motor home, but they are beautiful Class A motorhomes.
