Splish, Splash! Fun and ways to play with the Water Education
There are so many things your baby or toddler can learn through play of water. And it's so easy, without having to spend much money on toys and they will be playing for hours.
Some useful things you might need is
- Pots and pans of different sizes AND / OR
- Vats were used for hand washing clothes
- Containers of different sizes and shapes
- Funnels
- Measures (the use of large plastic serving spoons. In fact, many kitchen utensils often come handy in a game of children)
- Fuses of wine (that float and the collection process can be very pleasant for parents)
- Plastic syringe, small water pistol or a bottle of shampoo empty
- Food coloring liquids of different colors (you can buy in a cooking section of your supermarket)
- Pinchers (try to find the covers with plastic or rubber such as metal can be very sharp)
--------------
Obviously, the water will splatter, otherwise there would be so much fun! Therefore, choose the play area with care. When my son was a baby we did this type of game either on our balcony on hot days or in the bath tub. No need to fill the bathtub with water, place all materials in the bathtub playing the game throws a diaper and a T-shirt away. You can even upload to the bath with her young if the tub is big enough, try it, it's fun!
Once my son is a little older playing big pots with water and containers placed on a table and I just cover the floor under the table with a large plastic tablecloth.
---------------
A few of things you can do (please do not limit yourself to any list, use your imagination)
- Fish Out "wine corks (or other floating objects) with a spoon, tongs or just fingers
- Try to count out loud when placed in a container
- Are filled and jets of water with a plastic syringe, for to address some of the light objects that could fall, when I get it, like toy soldiers or cars (or even wine corks useful)
What is the development and improvement: hand-eye coordination, muscle tone or motor skills, counting skills
-----------------
- Fill containers of different sizes at different levels with water and pour the water in other containers through chimneys. They are often used glass jars of different sizes and put them inside in large pots so that water does not spill across the table when my son was leaving. IF YOU ARE USING GLASS BOTTLES great care and NEVER LEAVE THE BOY IN THE TABLE ONLY!
- Take 2 large pots, leave a gap and fill the other with water. place several smaller plastic containers or glass jars into the pot empty. The child can use a small plastic bowl, a spoon, a spoon or syringe to fill the empty jars and containers with water in large pot.
- Add some color to the colored water and learn colors while playing. They also learn how fun and interesting is to mix the colors. Stick only a few colors and try to select the primary colors such as green, red and blue. Children are very easily confused if you try to teach many colors simultaneously.
What we are learning: volume, the concept of empty / full, color, color mixing.
----------------------
The imaginative play
- One of my favorite games child during bath time was "Redemption." We use small dolls, animals rubber toy soldiers and if they fell into the water they return to rescue them to safety in the toy boats and ships.
other things you can do playing aims with water:
- The game fishing in the tub (a fishing rod out of a tree branch of a small, soft, thick needle or a pencil point and a string of some)
- Dolls to shower, washing hair
- Wash dishes
- Etc imitate everything mom does around the house or help real mom. can give the child a clean sponge or a mop with a short handle.
- In the bathroom to pretend that it is raining, while water is poured through a sieve
So go ahead, start splashing - the water can be fun all year!
