Does the word "motor" means nothing to Americans?

I ask because I have a website that sells mobile homes in rental the United Kingdom, http://www.motorhomesdirect.co.uk but I would like to extend a little more and deal with U.S. RV and motorhome motorhome market. The site http://www.motorcaravanworld.com I have is - I use this as it used to be the name of a magazine in the UK. My only concern is that the name is too outdated. In the UK people tend to say 'motorhome' and 'caravan' or 'camper' and older people say "motorhome" I wonder if this was the same in the states. Please only respond if American or live in the U.S. I do not need the answer mistaken for other nationalities trying to guess response. I hope to get a good answer!

In Europe, a caravan is a trailer. So a motocaravan only be a motorhome. They have plenty weird names for the vehicles. Instead of a truck, say farm.
