Planning your first trip by road Rv

Planning your first RV road trip may seem easy at first. You bought your house stock, they have equipped and ready to go, you know where youâ € ™ re head and you have all your maps. What more do you need?

You want be sure that you plan carefully for every contingency. Even the best dealers do not have a service station in each city or state. You have no family or friends around you everywhere you go, and we must be prepared, just in case.

As with any trip to trip, you want to be sure that you have identification, insurance cards, prescriptions, and medical information in a safe place. But there are many other lists you need to make too. Connect to Internet or talk to your local RV dealer for a list of RV service stations along your route and at destination. Enter the name of the place of service or grant, the phone number, and address. You may even want to mark these on the map soon. In this way you know who to call if they break or have an accident.

Have the phone number and paperwork for your warranty as well as the name and telephone number of the dealer's hand, too. Make sure you have call center or customer service number for the dealership, not just the guy who sold his camper. You want to be sure that you get the right person on the first try if you need to order parts in a hurry. Your RV dealer should be able to order parts for you and have them delivered anywhere, including campsites.

Do not forget to call your insurance agent RV, let them know that they are preparing to leave town, and make sure you are covered for every possible problem or accident. Know what your policy covers, and have their insurance cards and contact information in the trailer with you at all times. If there is a center national call to your insurance company should have that too, and the address and phone number of the available places on your route. You never know when you may need this information.

If you are on a schedule, you may want to consider renting RV too. Prepare a list of dealers your route that will rent motor homes. This way you will be ready to not only repair your own vehicle, but to continue on their journey as planned, in any case.

In the end, the preparation of its first road trip RV might be a bit intimidating. But once the first steps and have all the information in place, you will find that planning becomes easier for each trip. And, if you're in an accident, found stranded on the side of the road or just need the pump to your bathroom repaired, you will be prepared and know exactly where to go!

I want wi-fi internet access for my motorhome for 4 month mobile holiday. Is there a pre-pay scheme available?

Normal providers like Verizon only offer 1 to 2 year contracts and I also have to buy an expensive card. My laptop is already wi-fi enabled. It costs $200 to break the contract so its an expensive way to get internet. I thought a far cheaper way would be to get a pre-pay scheme similar to international phone cards. I will be travelling across the U.S. and Canada so want good coverage throughout North America, so I am not reduced to looking for hot spots near Starbucks and libraries.. Are there prepaid schemes available. It appears that T mobile, Verizon don't provide this service.

I'll get back with you on this.
