The winter of his motor home

When you think of a mobile home owner usually think "Snowbird" is not it? You know those people following the heat wherever it passes that season. They can be of Calgary, but spend the winter in St. George, Utah.

Many of these people have motor homes - of Indeed, living in them. The Snowbirds do not have to worry about the winter, their coach, and that will never sit in the cold during the winter months. That is not true for many other owners of motor homes, however.

If you live in a cold climate you need to successfully winter their car to prevent its explosion pipe in the cold. Nothing will ruin your mood happy spring, and have to spend thousands to repair your pipes of dollars before making their first trip next summer. This is the recommended process for protecting the pipe from your trailer.

1. Drain the water from the plumbing system and fill the pipeline with antifreeze drinking.
In the landing gear of your equipment is a low point valve. There is a need to open it, which is where all the fresh water that can freeze and destroy pipes drain. It will be a little difficult to reach.

After the valve is open, go into your car and open all valves and shower and toilet flush the toilet (do not want an explosion Frozen Throne does?). Turn on all sink faucets and shower so it can drain well.

2. Install anti-freeze an installation kit.
All you have to do is insert the valve after removing the input line pump water pressure. Any installation kit you buy should come with a chart showing the process.

You want to point the valve handle to clear hose that comes with the kit, and you want to put the hose into a jar of potable water antifreeze. That takes care of getting antifreeze in all of the pipes. Remember - you want drinking antifreeze (not the things for your car)!

3. Install a water heater bypass, a series of valves that keep the antifreeze into the water heater. This part can be tricky. Just do it once, so I recommend you take your local motor mechanic and to do so.

4. Drain all water from water heater and, if one is there to freeze and burst the heater. That's another expensive repair!

You will need to open the drain plug in the heater, but it should be upheld, for valve actuation of the fingers have a tendency to stagnate after being heated and cooled several times.

Open the relief valve from the heater so that air can enter and push the water that is trying to drain. Otherwise part of the process could take hours. But do not forget to close the purge valve and the valve after you make the water heater drain. These are small details that do not want to remember next spring when it is de-winter your trailer.

5. Now that you have your kit ready to install antifreeze, get in the car and turn in each basin and separate shower (the two keys to the hot and cold water) and run until you're not seeing more water, just drinking antifreeze. Do the same with shower and shower wand for you to know that there is no fresh water left to burst pipes or other plumbing fixtures.

I also want to spend enough antifreeze to run as your sink traps and drains are covered with anti-freeze. One final note: if you have a water filtration system make sure to disconnect it before running antifreeze throughout the system. Will your filters unusable.

How to connect the three batteries in my motorhome southwind33 1992?

my son took out the old batteries and wires got mixed up and we can not find how to hook them back up. I can ring up the battery, but the coach has no idea what to do with the house batteries 2 ---- HELP

It is home to 12v or 24volt batteries? I bet 12 volts must be in parallel (pos to pos and neg to neg) the series would increase the tension (pos neg) to 24 volts
