Planning a trip to Brisbane / Cairns and travel side by side Tasmania in November / December, where to start?

Like the beaches and underway. Thinking about hiring a motorhome in any vicinty, has anyone been on most trips can be booked online or is walking in Tasmania easy to find your own way and do the walks independantely

I recently visited Tasmania and I campervanning. However, in Tasmania, rent a car and do our thing. The motel where good and always gave me a bottle and a folding esky on the road. We are pleased that we did, t have a caravan in Tasmania and roads are narrow and some very big hills. We booked our accommodation through Wotif. Com only a couple of nights before hand as we were not sure what puts us head because until then. Just went to an internet cafe for that and had great value accommodation. Although we did our book of the early days in Hobart prior to arrival. Nelson up the hill we reached the local bus is awesome. and I think all the water front is a nice place to stay. A convoy from Brisbane to Cairns is a good idea then you can put in beautiful Airlie Beach. which is where the boats go to many of the island. And take a look at Townsville and mission of the beach.
