Motorhome Rental â € "Find your Comfort

Motorhomes are designated by terms in different places with the sole exception uniforms that are designed for recreational vehicles to provide the elements of transport and shelter under one roof. In a fluctuating nature, these vehicles can serve as a temporary home for a comfortable ride and a permanent home. For people who use their motor homes as their permanent home, there are special trailer parks for the parking of vehicles. However, the number of these vehicles are rented for travel purposes is certainly at the top in many real places in the U.S. and Europe.

The first known mobile home rental made their entry into the world in the 20th century to mid-century as the period witnessed the need for recreational vehicles to serve their purpose of enjoying a comfortable journey to the desired destination within the sanctuary of a friendly atmosphere. Perhaps this is what led to the production of these trucks in various sizes and shapes to suit a wider audience. While there are campers from a small group two, there are others who can fill up to eight people.

Motorhomes waste even enough space to carry along useful items to add to the level of comfort for passengers. These trucks come under various classes which determine its size and the space available for teams. With the base model that offers enough space for a couple of beds, a table, a television, kitchenette and storage of some area, the larger models offer sufficient basis for beds, refrigerators, TV, shower area, gas, cooking equipment and even extra space for bicycles and barbecue.

As the popularity of rental motorhome have seeped into the comfort in the minds of travelers who seek home comfort as well as people who want to live in one, there has been a great explosion of these multipurpose vehicles.

I just bought an RV (motorhome). Any "words to the wise" from Veteran Rv'ers? Tips..how tos..helpful hints...

I just bought a 1994 29' Jayco Eagle Motorhome, Class C. I bought a few things for it (the basic hoses, chemicals, leveling blocks, etc, etc.) but would like to hear any advice veteran RV'ers have like:

What items are must haves?

Great camp-sites?

Tips for driving...

Does anyone have checklists for setting up and things to do before you leave the campsite?

Where can I take it for an oil change? (It is 12' high)

Does it have to be winterized if the temp. never reaches freezing?

How-tos for cleaning, maintenance, etc.

Anything you think would be helpful to this newbie!

PS) I live in Los Angeles, so if you know of local resources let me know. Thanks!

Practice driving and parking --- lots. Practice changing a tire. This sounds silly but believe me, trying this for the first time on the side of a busy roadway at night only to discover your spare is flat and your hydraulic jack isn't big enough to lift the RV is REALLY irritating. Buy an inexpensive battery charger (around $30.00 for a decent one) and store it on the RV. My dad does this because he once left the 12V lamps on all day and it drained the batteries almost to zip. Really nice to be able to plug into the campsite dock power and charge the battery overnight if needed.
You will have tons of fun in your RV -- especially since you probably didn't spent 150K for it! I used to borrow my dad's and although I was nervous at first I soon discovered that most everyone gets the hell out of your way when they see you coming (probably due to all that swerving and swaying). It wasn't long before I was driving the monster over one-way, sideless bridges, backwoods dirt roads, mountains, etc. The only place I stayed away from was busy cities (like metro Atlanta -- gad!) and the French Quarter in N.O. Have fun.
