How do we get our motorhome for the winter?

It is time for our winter tests again! It may be that all that matters is simply to keep platform freezing, or may want to drive during the winter season. There may be other issues that will need addressing, and is now a good time to do so.

Modern Class C motorhomes is very complex equipment. When we think about the question of how we prepare for the winter, we must consider all the different subsystems involved.

Think of the following elements when preparing for the cold and freezing rain, snow and sleet and prepare as necessary:

Plumbing:
- When we winter, frozen water pipes, valves and tanks usually our main concern.

Toldo:
- Want to make sure you are clear of debris and cleaning on both sides. Be sure to keep dry.

Slideshow:
- If using mechanical gears, grease up. If you use a hydraulic system, clean the hoses. Treat joints and seals with different a good conditioner for the rubber to remain flexible.

Motor-generator:
- If dirty, you may want to steam clean the thing. If using a natural product derived from oil, the oil may need to be changed. Not a good idea to put your team away with dirty oil. oil is dirty acids that damage the engine.

RV tires:
- Clean them, treat them with a product such as aerospace 303, and keep them off the ground. Must be in a concrete slab or appropriate business level, pieces of wood (not to hang the tread on the sides).

deep cycle batteries:
- Make sure they are filled with electrolyte and having terminals clean.

Who Requirements for the winter?
- Are you staying or moving to a warmer climate ... or maybe you want to use your computer to a cooler climate? Is there creatures you want to do a home on your computer stored? Also, what should I do to keep everything dry and free of mold?
How Do we have for the winter?
- What you have to do with his motor-generator, slides, tires, etc? Will you be ready for next spring?
Our plumbing for winter
- Not a good idea to leave water in your plumbing system. What is the best way to keep everything from freezing?

I feel that all the above items need a basic process for the winter to make. If not, you may find some surprises next spring. This is not necessarily a time consuming task, but you want to go out and look at things.

Remember, preventive maintenance go a long way to have a lifestyle free of stress mobile home next spring and summer.

How I can find information about an old murder case with very limited information?

ie young girl is murdered by a neighbor he used his trailer to transport the body in the desert (I think). The girl's parents were supposed to "swingers" and thaey knew the murderer, because this way of life. This happened in San Diego are (I think). Man accused was convicted. It was less than 10 years.

Check area newspapers San Diego for more information, or type the names of the accused or the victim in a search engine (if known). Once you have the names of the victim and / or the accused and the scene, you can track back and check the newspaper archives for what was reported. That should give information about where the trial took place, and what was the result. You may request a transcript of the trial. You will have to pay for it, but will give all the details about the crime.
