A machine motor home .. 1972 Mercedes Benz. Do I need security or leave it?

I want to live in it and remove when you want, but I'm not sure if I to halt the order to do that. The Benz has a sentimental value, so I will not sell. I have no problem keeping it stationary if it reaches that, but the question is, what I can to bring security to your home? Parts are hard to find (it's an air-over-hydraulic valve needed, store and service that is can not find one), and no one seems to want to put a finger on him. Any idea where should I look? One might think! The vehicle in Ottawa, Ontario, and I'm from the sticks, where you can get parts for anything, just ask around! Where do I start looking?
