Is there a saving of gas between and RV and pulling a travel trailer?
We currently have a Class A Motorhome (RV) and are considering selling operations, and get a pull behind trailer in place. We are thinking of doing this to get a gas saver. We know what we mpg with the trailer. How we know how many miles per gallon less than we would get our truck once you begin to pull a trailer? We are trying to figure out whether we should continue with what we have, or if you have good business sense for the option of towing. Thanks for any advice.
It is never easy coming down from the luxury of a class A. Unless which is a fifth wheel that can not ride in the back while on the move. And if the truck does something unexpected that can not run from the beginning to see what happened. I do not think you will be happy. In order to pull a large trailer truck uning it a ton, most probably as big of a motor as its Buss. I do not know about security but only recognizes the support of a trailer can be problematic. Keep the trailer great as ever you can. fuel savings is not worth less luxury. In addition to Ford or Dodge will then have to kick Chevy truck
