It is a 1984 Jayco Motorhome with a Chevy 350 engine good?
How good is a 1984 Jaco Motorhome with a Chevy 350 engine? I'll see a used 1984 Jayco motor home. It has a Chevy 350 engine, 84,780 miles. I do not know if this is a good engine or not. The photos of the exterior looking clean but I have not seen the inside yet. What ask questions that do not all work? My main concern is the mechanical condition and whether the engines and transmissions have had problems. Or, are the workhorse RV's. Our purpose is to use a couple of times a year to camp within a radius of 500 miles of our house. We do not intend to pull anything with it. I can not find anything online other than the price of NOTHING. Any RV experts out there? Thanks for the help!
If it is a conversion van 350 type motor will do well and is a good engine and engine parts abound for that engine, if a mobile home winnapego big as a 350 is not sufficiently large, need the big block chevy 454 to transport everything.
